Squash is an indoor sport in which the ball is hit against a wall. It is named after the sound made by the ball when it hits the wall. In 1864, a special squash court was built in Harrow, marking the official creation of the sport.

(II) Floor system

Material properties:

4. Elastic cushions provide unique elasticity and heavy pressure resistance for the hard maple floor, reducing the chance of athletes being injured by bouncing on the floor.

Construction process:

Material selection: Northeast or Canadian maple. The maple floor is 50-70mm wide, 22mm thick, and 1800mm long. It is nailed to the pine keel and plywood with specially made floor nails. The bottom is attached with elastic shock-absorbing pads and laid flat on the flat ground pre-laid with moisture-proof adhesive tape.
