Sports wooden floor will have scratches after long-term use, and basketball hall wooden floor is more serious. Scratches not only affect the appearance, but also affect the sliding coefficient of sports wooden floor. The cost of renovating sports wooden floor is much lower than replacing wooden floor, and the working time is shorter. The main principle of renovating sports wooden floor is to replace the damaged and rotten surface and base layer, use a grinder to grind off the scratches and stains on the surface of the wooden floor, and then repaint and mark. The specific operation steps are as follows:
Step 1: Inspection
Inspect the sports wooden floor before renovation. Determine the degree of wear of the wooden floor and select the corresponding grinding tools.
Step 2: Grinding
Select a sanding belt for grinding according to the density and depth of scratches on the sports wooden floor to make the surface smooth. The grinding depth depends on the wear of the floor, and the general range is fixed between 0.5mm--2mm.
Step 3: Filling and repairing
Mix putty powder and floor powder into putty of the same color as the floor, and repair gaps or other small defects with a width of no more than 2mm.
Step 4: Polishing
Use a polishing machine to polish the sports wooden floor, and use a vacuum cleaner to clean the floor. The surface of the wooden floor must be free of any dust, and the walls and corners must be cleaned with a brush and rag.
Step 5: Painting and marking
After the cleaning work is completed, paint the floor. The renovation of sports wooden floors requires the use of special sports floor paint that meets the German DIN18032 standard. After the painting work is completed, mark the lines and draw the LOGO according to the contract requirements.
Note: The renovation of sports wooden floors generally uses domestic non-slip and wear-resistant polyurethane sports floor special paint. Professional venues use Swedish Bona special water-based paint, which has less odor and better anti-slip properties.
